    Default Lonestar lies...

    Just a quick post to all the non-Texans here.

    DO NOT believe what Lonestar says!!! It is NOT the national beer of Texas.

    Any true Texan will tell you that the TRUE national beer of Texas is brewed in the tiny little town of Shiner at the Spoetzel Brewery.

    This not an advertisement and I do not own stock in Gambrinus (the company that owns Shiner, but thankfully has kept a "hands-off" approach). However, I do my personal best to keep the little brewery running at full capacity.

    Long live Shiner Bock! Tried Lonestar once... That was all it took. Wish I could get some Shiner up here!

    SimpleGuy,
    I tried your ShinerBock beer. It was ok, but I still like Yiengling Lager and AmberBock better. Also becoming partial to BlueMoon and Shocktop.
