There was that one math section about hose pressures that was pretty jacked up. I talked to the proctors after the test and they said they're aware of it. I think they'll give everyone credit for those few questions.

That was it. The formula didn't have a "squared" symbol, but the examples were done as if there was one.

They shouldn't give everyone credit, it's basic math. When you are doing a math problem like that everything has to have the same unit values. The example should have been enough to figure it out. Just my opinion but they will probably give everyone credit anyway and just make the test even easier.

I wasn't saying they should, but I think that's what they said they would do for disputed questions like that. As long as you filled in a bubble, you get credit for it.

I thought the test was pretty easy, i did struggle with the pressure questions but i think i figured them out. I cant wait to hear about the physical test. Good luck to everyone. How many stayed for the "OPTIONAL" power point. I think that was part of showing your interest in the company if you ask me. Why else would you have to sign your name to a paper?

Good point. I didn't think about that. I stayed and liked what I heard. Sounds like the department really has it together financially and organizationally.

I was hoping I'd be one of the few that noticed and improved my odds haha. I'd rather everyone get credit for those questions than have the test thrown out or something though.

In that meeting I think they said specifically Oct. 1 or 4.

I tested on the 25th as well, in the afternoon. Actually can't remember if the HR people giving the test said that or if they said it in the meeting. Somebody did though.

just got an email today. the test was pass/fail, no numerical score. looking forward to the physical abilities testing.

u guys hear anything about dates for the physicals? i know they said they will send it out but what do u think late october/early november? im sure there will be more than one day of testing...

I didn't realize we weren't getting numerical scores.

We'll just have to wait, if i remember correctly Director Blackwell said that in the first two weeks notifications were being sent out to the PASSERS and that they would begin the physicals in mid to late October. The tentative class starts in January so their pressed for time in my opinion.

I am still waiting to hear back. Are they notifying people by email only? I tested August 25th in the afternoon. Hopefully I hear something soon.
