    Default Pre-1199a poll

This is not the official 1199 date poll.

This is however to poll the grant members if they believe the first 1199's will begin closer to '08 or closer to '09.

I believe they will begin closer to '09.

Hahaa...I would have to say probably closer to the 07' guess because those awards took forever in 06!

Heck yes, I'm hungover. My local government pulled the rug on my tanker application at the last moment along with a couple other items.

With the way last years waiting and surprises during the waiting, just taking it as it happens doesn't seem practical. What is practical is getting the computer DJ's out early.

Also I want to see if AFG has the 1199's on a written schedule again and if anybody has talked directly to them about it. I did last August and they said they were scheduled for Sept. 8th. The rest as they say is history.

I am betting that we will barely change from 2009.

Its as good a thread starter on here as anything else related to AFG. Besides if I'm correct, I intend to take advantage of it.

Comp DJs are in the plans to be released early as in within the next 3 weeks based on some feedback I've gotten. Probably will beat the 1199As out the door even.

We have one marker to follow.

When someone gets a computer DJ notice, be sure and post it here.

What did you mean by this though? 08' and 09'? The months?

Yeah, months will work. When everyone is ready, (or wants) to start the 1199a poll, I'll begin collecting dates.

BC79er's statement that the computer DJ's should begin in three weeks is the first indication of the 2010 AFG season for 1199's.

I am being pessimistic about claims that 2010 1199's beginning late summer. Not that I have a major problem with it, just developing an estimation based on what happened last year.

I do not think AFG's work load has decreased any.

Well, SGC isn't around this year so hopefully they won't have that additional work to deal with.

In the past, 1199A's have dropped as soon as 3 weeks after the first round of reviews. I think they are going to be working as hard as they can to get back to that timeline.
