Attended this years expo and was really disappointed. Alot of major manufactors missing or had little showing. The model display they had on Saturdays was gone. No apparatus parade on sunday the flea market was on saturday and was about quater of the size it use to be. BCFD usually had there apparatus displayed at steadman station on saturday that was gone. Does not have the fire it use to have; maybe its time to move it to another city. Anybody else have any feedback.

Firehouse Expo 2010...
Sorry to hear your disappointment. Although smaller than previous years (many of the companies that have exhibited in the past have closed their doors due to the economy), the exhibit floor still featured over 400 companies displaying the newest products, services and technology in the industry. As for the conference portion, we offered more classes and more opportunities than ever before in our history. One of the big changes this year was to move the flea market to Saturday and bring the antique apparatus indoors to a climate controlled environment. Our intent was to show our appreciation to the families that support firefighters, as this really is a family business. In addition to the flea market vendors, we added fire safety education and a bouncer for the kids. As with all things, change takes time. We feel that we had a great turnout for the first year and expect to add even more vendors and apparatus as we plan for next year's event.

I think the current economy was a major factor in this year's show. I know efforts were being made by Firehouse to produce the best available show. Unfortunately economic issues prevailed and substantially affected the Expo.
Regardless, I look forward to the 2011 Expo. Hopefully things will improve.
Thanks to Firehouse for their efforts to produce a great show!
Anyone with constructive suggestions should send them to Firehouse.
