I'm just helping a fellow firefighter out by spreading the word.
For the month of August only, order The Workin' Fire pizza from Papa John's. The creator is a firefighter from Georgia and is one of 3 finalists in the Specialty Pizza Challenge. The top selling pizza will be chosen after Aug. 29th, so order it before then. ***It has to be ordered ONLINE for it to count.***
Our crew had it tonight for dinner and it wasn't too bad. The creator based it on the fire triangle of pizza's. The toppings include pepperoni, spicy sausage, and jalapenos.

Wasn't bad, saw it online a while ago, had it with hot sauce and crushed pepper, wasn't bad at all.

Update
The firefighter that created the Workin' Fire pizza lost the contest. Her pizza came in 2nd place with 45% of the orders.

I used to be married to a blonde, bottle redhead,Yankee Jewish woman and frequently had to explain to her that in the South "I ate it,didn't I? really is a compliment to the cook.
Though I'm not much for the jalepeno peppers,I tried it and it was okay.It didn't knock any of my preferences(pepperoni, all meats,BBQ) off my list.Last edited by doughesson; 08-31-2010 at 02:12 PM.
