Bugle, if you or anyone notices a larger award for an item this year than the previous year, please point it out.

Nothing as of yet. The only change has been a cut in cardiac monitors to $30K from the $33K that was awarded last year.

What reduction is everybody receiving for structural firefighting coats? So far I've seen two different amounts in various 10qs.

$900 is all I've seen. One came through at $950 and then was corrected to $900.

FYI - I've seen $1,000 per coat on a 10q with reduction. We'll see what happens when the official award is provided.

    Default Allowance for 75' Quint

I didn't see any cost allowance info from 2009 or 2010 for a 75' quint.

However, received 10Q's yesterday for $565,000 with no reduction. Will re-post with the final amount when the award comes through.

$600K was about right last year, maybe $650k depending on config with pump/tank, etc.

You're starting to worry me about the price now. I spoke to comm shop when I was writing and that is what he told me. They use a UHF to VHF repeater if I recall. It's a replacement for a 20+ year old one so most of the ground work is done, only have to swap bases I think.

No, don't worry about it. For a crossband repeater, it sounds pretty fair - unless you are looking at 100 watt continious duty.
