Now that 2010 is nearing completion we need to start to prepare for 2011. If anyone has any info on their awards to update the cost allowances please pass it along. Thank you.

I will look through our awards and send you a PM with info.
It would also be helpful to cross-check the 2010 and 2009 lists. I noticed that some of the max costs listed on the 2010 file are less than the max cost on the 2009 file for equipment/projects that FEMA did not change the max reimbursement.

$220,000 for a 500/3000 tanker, with an additional 2000 for physicals. Everything else was on par with last years numbers.

Was the $220K total project cost or federal share?

The $220,000 was the 210,000 Fed and $10,000 local. There wasn't a reduction. The physicals was a blanket 2000, no per person figure. We get special pricing thru our university health clinic.

Updated List as of April 21st
Attached is an updated list for 2010 funding levels. The Green highlighted areas are 2009 cost allowances where nothing has been reported for 2010 as of yet.

They range so much doesn't seem to be one, we hit for basics around $1000 and 4-gas have gotten up to $5000. Never had to go higher than that so far, the $5k was what we asked for.

Thanks Brian, sounds as though their $1600 for a 4 gas should slide by ok then under excess funds

Easily. Although if it's Excess Funds there is no limit other than the $5k, they can't 'enforce' price limits on Excess Funds since that's the whole reason for the $5k cap, they figure you can't go too nuts on any one item for that amount.
