Collision sends fire truck into Kearns resident's yard
KEARNS -- A fire truck on its way to a call in Kearns Thursday evening ended up in a person's front yard.
Police say the fire truck was responding to an emergency call, with lights flashing, when a car tried to make a turn in front of it. The two collided, and the truck ended up in a yard near 6200 South and 4500 West.
The fire truck sustained minimal damage, but the car wasn't so lucky.
No one was hurt in the accident.
