Why do you want one? Is it like the tag on a mattress?

I feel the same way. But I also have to say that I took a class once where they insisted that you had NFPA compliant gear during the live burn. They actually checked every piece of gear. I cut off the NFPA label on my gloves because they annoyed me and ended up having to use my backup gloves because of that.
On the other hand I am sure that they would realize if a fake label was applied.
Only other reason I can think of for applying a fake label would be to sell the item."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." -- Benjamin Franklin

I admire their thoroughness but I hope they'd figure out that a sticker alone doesn't make a piece of equipment compliant. If the model of the helmet is apparent (not that it's all that easy to distinguish a compliant N6A from a non-compliant N5A), any document demonstrating that model is compliant should suffice.

However, I wouldn't be surprised if they declined to give out any stickers. Your best bet is probably taking it to a Cairns/MSA distributor if you really need a sticker."Nemo Plus Voluptatis Quam Nos Habant"
