Anything /\/\otorola is gauranteed to be difficult to program...

If you don't get any help here, try http://www.batlabs.com/ . It's primarily a batwing 2-way forum but it's a goldmine of people who know /\/\ products inside out and backwards."Nemo Plus Voluptatis Quam Nos Habant"
The Code is more what you'd call "guidelines" than actual rules.

I know for our pagers the NOVAs, you can alert with duty tones, and if your pager is set to off duty, when those duty tones are sent out, you will not be alerted. ie, if you are sleeping and want your pager on, but don't want to be awakened for the first ems or what have you call, since there is a crew on duty or sleeping in. This can be used. However, it only works if your dispatch alerts with duty tones and regular tones. As for priority alert.....uhh, I have no idea other than a more annoying or loud tone will go off when this higher priority call is dispatched? Again, no idea about that one. Hope that helps.

On duty / off duty allows you to set certain tone sets to not alert in certain modes. For example in my old department, I had them all setup so if you had the pager on mode C, the medical tone was set for off-duty so you don't wake up when you aren't on duty. The off-duty checkbox for each tone will make that tone off-duty for each mode that also has it's off-duty check box checked.
Priority alert is probably related to scanning on two channel pagers. Not sure the exact details since we never used two channel pagers and I don't remember.Even the burger-flippers at McDonald's probably have some McWackers.
