Does anyone out there have experience with Cold Fire?
We have a lot of people and equipment in fire prone areas and we are looking for ways to increase our fire suppression abilities. Some of our sites are remote so the less water (weight) we need, the better.
We are looking to use something to: 1. put out equipment fires and 2. prevent wildfires from work activities and/or equipment fires.
Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time

Does it carry a UL listing???
What is the rating on it?? What types of fire and number rating ??
Seems a little small for anything except a match fire

Cold Fire is nothing more than an expensive class A, according to the UL Listings.
Class A's are also minimally listed for B fires, but not as an AFFF.
Looking at UL, the application for B fires is 1.5% for coldfire, or roughly three times higher than other UL listed products.
If you want a good class A, look for USDA Forestry and UL approved products. They have higher testing standards, and in this case, are cheaper.
