    Default 42 more credit hours!

Yes, I start my college back this week and I only have 42 more credit hours left until I have my Bachelors in Fire Science. One more step done in getting a good fire department job when i get out of the Corps.

I'm the one Fire and Rescue calls, when they need to be Rescued.

Thanks Mech, I hope to get on at Charlotte, but I'll apply at all departments hiring as I know I'm not gauranteed a shot right out of the gate. I was blessed with the first fire dept. job I got, just happened to know the right people to get my foot in the door and get hired on. I miss the job with a passion, I miss gettin' on the truck and helpin' folks out.

Good luck and keep at it. This summer I finished my BS in Management after 10 years of part time attendance and on/off for various reasons.

This is it though, I have three degrees and I just can't see getting motivated for any more college. Not to mention that I'm old enough to be my classmates father.
I am now a past chief and the views, opinions, and comments are mine and mine alone. I do not speak for any department or in any official capacity. Although, they would be smart to listen to me.

Thanks guys, and yes, I'm looking forward to getting started on that masters in Emergency Management. After that it's on to a BS in Fire Engineering and a masters in the same.
