    Default 2010 SAFER application question

    "If awarded this grant, how many active volunteer firefighters will be in your department?"

    Is this how many we expect to have if we were awarded for a R&R grant at the end of the period of performance? (current number - loss + new recruits) ?

    I've looked through the guidance but might have over looked it. What is the percentage breakdown for hiring. Example 1st year 90% funded 2nd year 70% funded. Thanks

    The feds provide 100% for the first 2 years. The third year the department funds 100%.
