We need a class, but it's still up in the air if we will have the training budget to put one through. Of the 7 dropped, I would expect only one of those (an injury) to be rolled into this class. The next group will have to do CPAT and a medical. Background if you haven't done it yet. Typically HR will call candidates on the list and ask for what they need and give a conditional offer based on completion of CPAT and medical. I wouldn't expect any movement until the fall.
Is Seattle still doing the psych? I know the last class didn't.

Since this is off of the same list as the last class, I don't think they have a psych planned. It still shows as part of the process, but I think they're counting more on the background for now. Hope that helps. Training dudes are pretty solid that we're gonna have RC 99 end of Feb.

I'm guessing it'll be another round of the same perhaps. And if I remember correctly, I think we got out of there much earlier than the alloted 8 hours.

i wonder if this testing is for only the top 25% that moved on last time, or if they plan on moveing more on from the eligibility list?

Congrats to the guys/gals who got the email! Did everyone who got the email in the top 165 or are they moving up the list? Did you guys already take the written test down at HQ last year? Just curious I have some friends on the list. Keep the faith and stay healthy and fit for feb!

I'm guessing you just have to do the long history questionaire to see if anything changed since last year if it only says 4hrs.

Scheduled my CPAT for October 6 at 1400 in Everett. Anyone else going to be there that day/time?

Also I was invited to take the agility test for the cadet program on the 25th of August, anyone else going to be there?

My Pre-employment testing date is the 12th.

Let me know here or PM if you might be around those events those days, maybe put some names (real names) with faces?

    Take care, Nick.

    Good luck this time around.

    Thanks for the info.

Glad there is no psych. Doc might not like the fact I was a stunt c*ck for midget porn back in college.

Don't take my word on the psych. They do that whole fill out the sheet thing for psych (scantron kind of thing), and then they'll decide if they put folks in front of the shrink. It's really not that hard. Don't over think.

I talked with training and it sounds like there is some level of psych exam, but only HR knows what it entails at this time. Also for planning purposes if you have to think about when to relocate and what not it looks like Feb 13th for a start date. I'd expect an orientation earlier that week and if you have to relocate to the area it's always good to get here about a week earlier to settle in. I had to do that and it helped immeasurably. I also know an SFD guy who will be renting his house in W. Seattle out sometime in Nov/Dec who has said he's willing to rent it out for members of RC99. It's about 10 min from the JTF. Hope all are doing well...

I wonder if any other testing will be included during the 4 hour period, math, mechanical aptitude, IQ etc.
