Pierce was marketing one a few years ago, the detector wires basically removed your approach to the a window or parapet wall. IMO, it is another alarm to stop the rig. Keep 10' from wires and you should be OK.

Anything that doesn't require battery's, a charger, or any other user consumable. They won't get changed or charged, or worse, somehow broken.
