............I don't even leave knots tied in my ropes because rope has memory and even an unloaded knot due to the sharp bends weakens the rope. Some may think that's a bit extreme and that's okay. I'm just anal like that.
For me to be able to take any stock in this, I'd have to ask you to provide lab test data to support this claim. Especially if the strength difference is any particular percentage that should cause concern. Otherwise, I'd put this concern in the same category as my concern for stepping on a rope.
