    Default Shanghai Tower Fire Kills 53

    I don't see any mention of that disaster here yet, and am wondering if it could happen here.

    It was apparently made possible by flammable insulation, and started by untrained welders.

    Here a story on it in the Wall Street Journal with a video.

    I saw mention in one report of bamboo scaffolding, which couldn't have helped much...

    Looked like jackstraws. Fire QUICKLY went beyond available aerial devices. T.C.

    It had to be ugliest fire image I've ever seen. Nothing like that since the 911 scenes.
