There is an R-Model Mack with a (I think) Saulsbury box for sale at Coopersburg Kenworth/Bernie Enterprises, located on Route 309 in Coopersburg, Pa. It has been there for quite a while, which makes me think they either want too much for it or it has problems. Seeing it from the road, it looks like it may be in decent shape. Let me see if I can find it on the internet......

EDIT: That didn't take long, here it is:

Yeah I tend to agree. Usually though if you beat the guy over the head hard enough, and wave enough green at him (in the amount you are offering) he caves in......

This is not a commercial in any way. These are sites I routinely surf.

It's worth noting that many of these are brokers. That means the truck might be listed on more than one site, and if the commission structure is different, the truck might actually be listed cheaper on one site than on another. So look at them very carefully; it's usually pretty easy because they have the same pictures.

Advisories aside, here you go. Maybe some are new to you.

I know 40K is a lot for a 27 yo truck. If however you decide to try negotiating on this rig...
Saulsbury made a change in manufacturing method in 1984. After late Sept. all tubular sub-frames were filled with rust inhibitor, and from all reports this created a great improvement to the expected life of the unit.

Great dealer, I know the owner. He has custom and commercial chassis rescues for sale. He just listed a sweet 1999 Pierce Lance.
