Fire Prevention?

Hows it going people? I was a paid call fire fighter for about two years now going back to school and studying fire tech. I would like to get into Prevention down the road. This really interest me.... Does anyone have any advice on Career paths, classes, training? Anything would help. Thank you for your help.

Suggest any building const classes, advanced fire protection system classes

Thanks for the responce, I am in California(Southern) Recently moved from northern Cal and trying to learn the system down here slowly.

Most calif ads I see want the state insp certs

But once again check per dept how you get into prev

I know the state hires off the street and have seen a few fire marshal openings
