Just received a phone call from the good Senator for my former depts AFG. Round #1, for Equipment and Vehicle...

Sly... I don't have anything showing in the awards section as of this moment, so I can't confirm Friday. I was just advised Round #1, but no date.

I have to check with the other Depts I assisted and see if any got the call.

The Ball is rolling now guys...............

Word from an AFG rep is that there are a lot of bumps with working with the new IT system, and there will not be any new movement past what has happened until 2011, apart from the people being awarded and having their 10Qs

Talked to a rep from Senator Stabenows office a few minutes ago, was told that a vote to authorize the release of funds probably won't happen until some time in January. Although she said that she did receive an e-mail with round one awards on it. We weren't on it. I think that this is going to be another interesting year.
I wonder if those that do get award notifications, will also have a "IOU" in it.

Congrats first round winners. Did anyone get the 10Qs or 1199 notification prior to the Congressional call? Seems the whole process this year is a little disjointed.

1199A's and 10Qs always preceed Congressional notifications.

Have to have that administrative stuff in order before awards can be made.

Was hoping to get my 10 Q's by now, we have had our 1199a for atleast 2 months. Is it to late to hope for round 2?

Anyone know when more 1199s and or 10Qs will be released? Apparently there are some of you with 1199s who did not get awarded!? When will the next awards be.

I don't think anyone could give you an accurate date to start again; I have heard as early as next week and I have also heard we won't see any activity till after January 1; take your pick.

Pretty sure we will see round #2 Congressional notices flying this afternoon for awards on Friday.

That would be helpful in pitching my board for some travel expenses. Yes I need $1,500, by the way I just saved you $33,000.

Does everyone get a Congressional notification for awards or is that only done in certain states?
