    Can any one give me some pointers on my resume...i am about to Graduate the Butte Fire Academy and could use all the help I can get.

    Do not list your girlfriend, girlfriend's Mother, teacher as references

    List any jobs even though they are not fire related

    Unless you are older the resume should be short

    Education experience references

    Most of this stuff is picked up on the application anyway

    Keep it one page. No long explanations, just highlights. There are some good formats out there. I think Capt. Bob and Chief Lepore might have something about them on their sites.
