    Default Nfpa 1500 & osha

I know there has been a lot of discussion on NFPA 1500. My question is has OSHA adopted all of NFPA 1500 or just the 2in/2out part. I know NFPA is not law but if OSHA it adopts is then law.

No, it has not adopted it as the entire thing. All of the little aspects would make it cost prohibitive to 99 percent of the country
Am I being effective in my efforts or am I merely showing up in my fireman costume to watch a house burn down?Ē (Joe Brown, www.justlookingbusy.wordpress.com)

As I recall, OSHA actually had their version of "2in/2out" before NFPA did.

The relevant OSHA standards can all be found online unde 29 CFR 1910.

The Code is more what you'd call "guidelines" than actual rules.
