Thought I would share you guys this video of our Fire Truck decorated in Christmas lights, here at the Oak Grove VFD in Kings Mountain, NC. This is our "show truck" that we use for events, and parades. Let me know what you guys think, thought this might give a laugh for some of you guys

So besides the fact that was really awesome i just have a few questions. Can you drive that truck while its doing the light display, and how did you incorporate the lights from the truck. was there like a "port" you just plugged into??

i was always a fan of the decorations until last year. we had a 3 alarm fire in a garden style apartment complex dispaced about 120 people. the families sat near fire trucks decorated with lights and other christmas type stuff watching their holiday happiness burn to the ground. As we all get caught up in the holidays it just came off as depressing and insenstitive. we encounter most people during some of the worst momerts of their lives we need to remember that.

West Manatee Fire-Rescue tried doing this with Tower 129 a couple of years ago, but the county got onto 'em for being, and I quote, "Politically Incorrect."
