Does anyone here use or have you used Alertpage.net?
If so, is it a good service? I can't find any reviews good or bad.
Thanks.

It is funny how your first post promotes a website. Almost smells like spam.

... Or the guy just joined to ask a question?

Even the burger-flippers at McDonald's probably have some McWackers.

Where's the promo for the website???? Just because he mentioned it in asking, doesn't mean he's promoting it.

Sorry guys. I am in no way affiliated with nor do I indorse the site that I mentioned earlier. It was just an honest question not meant to spotlight the site. Hope I didnt break any rules here. Now.....back to my question. All I am basically looking for is a thought or two about the service if you have used it. I don't what to spend the money if you think it's not worth it.
Thanks,
T

Brand new site, that relies on others to donate time so they can make money. He did not ask for recommendations about an email\text alert service, his first post ever was to name a site that charges a fee for the service. It may very well be Innocent. If he is here asking advise 50 posts from now I will be wrong. Until then he just appears to be another site trying to skirt the cost of advertising.
I hope I am wrong.

Damn I asked a simple question on a forum related to emergency service. If I wanted to hear from a bunch conspiracy theorist I would have joined another site. Let me put it this
way....do any of you recommended a tex/alert messaging service either free or something you pay for? I would like to get text alerts on major events in MD,PA. THAT IS ALL NOTHING ELSE!!!

It's a shame that people are so quick to presume that everyone is out to get somebody. What ever happened to the good ole when people asked for advice about a service and it was taken for face value. Hmm I guess that's only in the movies.

Tncant,
I personality would like to apologize for all the trouble makes on this site. It's come to a point that new firefighters to the site are treated badly and are seemingly unwelcome unless you ask a question "pre appoved" by a few regulars that take it apon them selves to judge everything and everyone on here.
As to a reply to your actually question I personality can't answer it but I did want to apologize from the many very helpful firefighters that are on this site. Many of which have help me and my fire department in many ways. For that I thank them very much.
