I have full FF paper and I am also member of our regional HAZMAT unit.

Have anyone experience with visiting foreing FF?

Hopely you have a few leads for to start...

    Stay safe and merry Christmas.

I think you'll find that there are a ton of fire departments out there who would enjoy hosting you (such as mine). But even though we're career, you wouldn't see a ton of action...maybe only 10 calls a day at most, more often just 5 or 6. You need to figure out where in the country you want to spend your time and how big of a city. With that information, people here could offer you a lot of advice about suitable cities in that region and even the people you would need to get in contact with to set it up.

CHIEF ROY, thanks for your quik reply.

About your question, what kind of dept. I am looking for a station, probebly
like yours, not too bizzy but enoungh to see what it's like in a real US fire station. And also enoungh time to learn and to see how things works.

Reading some of your treads, I understand that your are a fire chief in Boston.
Can I ask what kind of station are you chief of.

    Stay safe,

    Chris, the Netherlands.
