Congrats Joey!! I got some good news. I didn't fail the math like I thought. It said 29 but it was 29 questions correct out of 34 not a score of 29.

    It isn't timed.

There's another reason why I think I took the wrong test: mine was 45 questions and I had only 45 minutes.

Edit: ^^this was for math. The reading/writing comprehension was 40 questions and was untimed.

Thats odd as I only had two scores. I wonder what will happen if there is a big F up with the accuplcaer tests?

    Took it today as well.
Was surprised how short it was.

    My scores:
    Reading: 120
    Math: 110

    Math was pretty basic stuff.

Congrats. Hopefully, I can work a miracle and pass the math also.

First response from Ron Johnson all week was an email message confiriming he received my release of test scores I scanned. Fortunately, the director of testing over at El Centro hooked me up here in Milwaukee. He essentially sent El Centro's log in information to Milwaukee - so it was as though I took the test down at El Centro. My test site when they logged me in read "El Centro College" and test location read "West campus". They also sent further instructions to have the test proctor select "paramedic" in their testing criteria.

If your testing looked different, or you received more than 2 test scores, or answered more than 37 questions total - odds are you took the wrong test.

Do you have to send the results in or is El Centro sending them?

EL Centro should send them. Accuplacer is done on to the CPAT. Also looking forward to my ride along next week with Dallas.

When I turned my history packet to the recruiting office I talked to the guys who havent went into recruit class yet and they said they been waiting months. Do you think they will have the people that get hired do the same thing they are doing until we go to recruit school if the class dont start in october.

Yeah. I got an email saying he could accept my reading comp score but wasn't sure that I took the Accuplacer for math. Looks like I'll be taking it tomorrow morning!

So I guess you don't call to make an appointment for a cpat, but they call you if your eligible for one, just FYI!

Did you receive a phone call from recruitment? I called and they said El Centro has not sent the scores over yet and that they would contact you to schedule your CPAT.
