Try to pick up your gear before 12am they told me to come back tomorrow because it takes 3+ hours to fit, after you go to Baylor go to your Docs Appt> fingerprints> Baylor> if enough time Dolphin training Ctr for fitting

Does the 28 week academy include the EMT-B, EMT-P, and Fire training all encompassed together?
Also, what is the typical weekly schedule for the academy? Mon-Fri 6am-6pm?

I just graduated my fire academy in CA. and have my EMT-B, but am looking to get hired by DFR.

The 28 weeks is just fire academy, plus a 6 week EMT school.. So your a recruit for 34 weeks... You won't be sent to medic school for atleast a year out of the academy... The schedule is 630-1600... Most of us get there around 515 to get stuff going and PT starts at 0630... Good luck
