Default Visiting Firefighter in San Francisco

    Hey guys,

I'm a female firefigher from Dublin, Ireland and will be in San Francisco with some friends 1st week in May. I'd love to visit a fire station while we're there, see how things are across the water. Is this possible?

And if so does anyone have a contact?

We;ll be staying near Union Square.
    Thanks guys!

I don't think a visiting Jake (especially from another country) needs to fill out a request form for a "community group."

Irish Eyes, try these two people:

    Deputy Chief of Administration:
    Monica Fields
    (415) 558-3403

    OR

    Deputy Chief of Operations:
    Patrick Gardner
    (415) 558-3402

    OR

FireAdministration@sfgov.org (No name listed for this officer.)

Call those numbers listed above when you get into town, or try sending an email to that address listed above. Just tell them you are on the job in Dublin and want to stop by a firehouse and have a cup of coffee and visit for a while. I am sure they can and will make the arrangements. Not sure if you are looking to ride along, you would have to ask them, but I would think you would most certainly be welcome to stop in for a visit. GOOD LUCK!

While I don't know him, if I were you I would definitly contact Patrick (of those two listed) and include a photo.

I am now a past chief and the views, opinions, and comments are mine and mine alone. I do not speak for any department or in any official capacity. Although, they would be smart to listen to me.
