    RIP. And thankfully they did not die in vain. It was this incident that brought on the personal escape systems for every firefighter in the department. And lives have been saved by them already.

    Please remember....it is not THE black sunday fire....it was called Black Sunday because of the TWO jobs that occurred that day. The first being the Bronx job...the second being the Brooklyn job in which Rich Sclafani of Ladder 103 was killed only a few hours after the Bronx fire. RIP Brothers

    Rest in peace brothers, you're not forgotten.

    Neither are the brothers still alive, but who's careers were cut tragically short after being forced to jump that day. Weekly doctors visits and the the pain and suffering is still something they'll live with everyday.
