See? All his power juicing and stuff couldn't save ol' Jack!
I'd comment more, but I'm out of breath from all this typing.

I remember him well. Ya, exercise finally killed him. At 96. We should all be so lucky. Recent photos of him showed him looking pretty good.

What a guy. I always enjoyed watching him, didn't seem to have a mean bone in his body.
He did look good, I think walking that talk appears to have worked out well for him.
To think so many generations grew up watching him in different facets. he was still pushing that juicer right up until his death.

It was kind of nice to see someone stick with their convictions until the end. He never compromised and always did it his way.
If that gets you to 96, you can't complain much.HAVE PLAN.............WILL TRAVEL

I saw the clip of him on the Today show on his 90th birthday. If I can still poop on my own at 90, I'll be happy.
It tickles me how fitness experts and nutrition people are so nitpicky about types of exercise and diet issues these days. Jack kept it simple for 80-ish years: Eat healthy stuff, be active. I figure he thought Atkins, South Beach, and whathaveyou were a giant joke."Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.”

EastKyFF: I just read your little blue signature line and thoroughly destroyed my keyboard and monitor by way of a rapid expulsion of Sugary Liquid.... It resembled an explosion to the point that my dog woke up.
Kindly send me about $300 for the damage.
Because it was humorous and I did like it, I'll knock off 10%, so just send the $270 and we'll be even.
This offer expires in 24 hours so you must respond immediately.
I need to follow Jack's example and get off the Dr Pepper. I may not live longer but my computer might.HAVE PLAN.............WILL TRAVEL

So Harve... does this mean you want to share part of the damages, or are you just trying to negotiate?
Ok... I'll knock off 20% and settle for $240. You guys can split it.

Damn... the stupid key 3etween the V and N is not working...
I had this issue about a year ago when we were discussing 3ass 3eating Fishing Tournaments in the South.
I wonder if Jack liked to fish for 3ass or just ate alot of 3ass.
I guess it doesn't matter now...HAVE PLAN.............WILL TRAVEL

Exercise may not necessarily put years on your life, but it will certainly put life into your years. It's not about living forever, but rather preserving a high level of function and quality of life for many years, and then a rapid decline into death. Would you rather enjoy your vices to excess, and then be miserable with diabetes, htn, cardiac issues, COPD, hobble on a walker (or be bed confined), then waste away your final years in a s***hole nursing home? I'd rather live to 60 and be able to do whatever I want to physically, rather than live to 85, struggle to make it to the crapper, and call EMS twice a week because I'm suffocating to death from pulmonary edema or COPD. If I get to the point where I have to call 911 to lift me back into bed because I can't get up off the floor, it's time to eat a bullet.
