CPAT near St. Louis?

I am currently applying for full-time fire positions and am finding that more and more fire departments are requiring a current CPAT certification. The closest place I can find to take the test is near Chicago, which is about 6 hours away.

Anyone know of a closer place to St. Louis where I could take the CPAT??

The short answer is you wont at least not in St Louis or the surrounding few counties. Most department's either do their own or you get it through the St Louis County Fire Academy. St Louis city does their own when they hire. All St Louis county departments have to go through the St Louis county fire academy and pass their physical to graduate. Jefferson county almost all departments do their own. Same with Franklin county I believe. Saint Charles city does their own when they hire. I also believe St Charles county has their own academy. You might want to check out closer to Kansas City i believe a lot of those department's use the CPAT. Hope this help's
