Hi all,

I recently was looking at the FDNY official webpage, under the statistics. I noticed that the FDNY responded to approx. 27,000 calls considered structure fires and some 18,000 no structure fires. Of these 27,000 or so, something like 2,700 were all-hands and mutiples. I guess I'm just curious as to what makes up the majority of fires in the city? I would assume a lot of food-on-the stove calls, are a lot of small fires put out with the can? I was just curious if anyone knows. Hoping to get on the job there, as I will be separating from the military shortly.

Thanks.
Andrew
