    Sucks to be you!

As for the price, my plain-vanilla, pretty-much-cheapest-they-had Laz-E-Boy cost just over $600 a few years ago. $700 isn't bad if you're going for something that's gonna last any time at all.

One of our MA companies spent a bunch of scratch on upgrading their day room. Nice furniture, dart boards, nice flat panel TV, an xbox etc etc. now when I drive by I ALWAYS see cars in the p-lot.

i like the idea. but with that comes a higher fuel bill (for heating when people are in station) "pop" bill will be increased. and pizza boxes being stacked can be a fire hazard :-)

My lounging comfort has nothing to do with being a good volunteer. If being sloth is what keeps certain people in the fire company, I don't want those people.

The furniture we have isn't the type of furniture that would encourage recruitment and retention. Oh it would be nice to sit on something more comfortable than a couch that is almost as I am.

    You're a couch? That's crazy.
