16 year old volunteer what should expect?

What should I expect as a 16 year old volunteer fire fighter? I understand that my involvement in calls will probably be limited until I hit 18 but how limited will it be? Would a 16 yr. old act basically for aid and assistance to the other FF? Is there anything I should know before contacting my local VFD? Thanks

It's not to sound harsh but nothing on this forum is of service to you. You should be listening to your departments officers and acting accordingly. If you have any actual questions and not a desire for predictions, ask your superior, if they are of no help, search.

If you're embarrassed, get over it, dumb questions are asked all the time
