Default Spartan Motors acquires Classic Fire

I'm not sure I understand what this will really do for Spartan. I would think that Crimson could already fill most if not all that Classic Fire brings to the table......

    What are your thoughts?

Note: When I posted this, I didn't see the other post for this same subject...but the question still remains....

    My thoughts:

    1) It gives Spartan a manufacturer for smaller trucks, an area where Crimson has had difficulty being price competitive with smaller regional builders. Crimson's specialty is custom "apparatus."

    2) It leaves a competitor (E-One) looking for another builder for their smaller trucks.
