    Default 10 questions error

We received and got our 1199 direct deposit approved 7 weeks ago for a new ambulance. Received the 10 questions email 6 weeks ago but there was an error in the budget. Original budget was $155,000 and they were reducing it to $125,000. BUT, they had made a mistake in question #1 and referenced back to the full grant amount. So, I called the grants specialist that sent the email. Was told it would be sent back for correction. Have not heard anything else. Should I still be hopeful? Anyone experienced anything like this before?

125 k is the amount they allowed last year for an ambulance. It makes sense that they gave you a reduction to that level . The error in the questions is a minor oversight on someone's part and you should see confirmation back soon.

Thanks for the reply. I am trying to remain hopeful. We are an all volunteer department and this new ambulance would really help us out. Patience was never one of my strong suits but I guess I have no choice but to wait!

Ibelieve I would go ahead and answer the questions and send them back. They will contact you when they realize the budget isnt correct. Just my thoughts!!

Good point about replying to the original set of 10 question and you are right, when they review it they should figure out they had the wrong budget. I'll give it a try and let everyone know what happens. This might at least get things rolling! Thanks for the suggestion.
