I think we ran about 180,000 last year with over 2000 firemen. Many companies run 12-20/tour. Some more, some less. I think it's about 400 total for the day. There's 4 platoons.

We ran 30,000 calls and have about 450 on the floor between 3 shifts. Most of our runs are EMS BLS non-transport. 19 engines 10 ladders.

Just over 2000 calls last year, combined fire and EMS. All volunteer department with about 75 members. We are on track to do more than that this year.

I think the fire department ran about 280 last year while our town's first aid squad was probably up to about 1,500 runs.

50k per year divided amongst 20 engines, 5 tower ladders, and 12 ALS ambulances. My engine averages about 2200 a year, and our medic is right there along with it.

At the volly house, we're doing 600/year.

This always interests me when you see companies doing more than 4,000 runs a year. When do you send fire companies to EMS calls? Is it for everything or for higher priority calls?

Most of our engines are about 35% or so EMS, very few are right around 50%. We are supposed to only go on high priority EMS calls....doesnt work out like that usually.

Around 9000 calls, 7 stations, 8 companies staffed (1 truck cross staffed with hazmat, 1 heavy rescue, 2 quints, 4 engines), occasional staffing of a 2 person squad. 125K population. We run most of the EMS calls with the County ambulance.

We avg +40,000 calls a year. 70% are EMS. All EMS runs are accompanied with either an engine or truck, no matter the call. Goes up from there on severity of the call.

I'm the one Fire and Rescue calls, when they need to be Rescued.
