physical fitness program
I am one of our departments physical trainers, and we are attempting to put together a physical fitness program for entire department. Looking at having scheduled time during shift and certain fitness levels. Can anyone give some insight into this? Anyone have anything similar in their department?
what do you have in place? How many PFT's, stations, personel, fitness equipment? What kind of attitude are you percieving about implementing a program?
What are you looking for? Routines? Handouts? CLasses? Training blocks? Injury prevention?
Where are located? Feel free to drop me a line, I have been a PFT since our inception of our program in Portland (OR) and also a PFT instructor. I have seen our program run the gambit from starting with nothing to 30 PFT's with training modules, spinning classes to losing all funding and stalling out. I would be glad to shoot some ideas back and forth
