I got a call today stating that I match their requirements for Iraq, and they set up a conference call with me on Monday to discuss an offer and what type of security clearance needed. Just currious if anyone else had the same.

Thank you. I'm not getting excited until after Monday tho. We'll see how that goes first.

KBR lists Telecommunicator II as one of their required certs, and yet they still called you. Interesting....

Is there a difference between airport firefighter and an arff course? I'm looking at taking the 40 hr arff ifsac course so I can have a shot at these jobs but I've seen airport firefighter on these threads too. What is this?

No difference. As long as it complies with NFPA 1003 and you get a Proboard or IFSAC cert at the end, you're good.

The only difference I can see would be at your interview. Airport Firefighter has worked on the job as one. ARFF trained would say you were trained, but might not have working experience. With DOD certs it gets really simple.
