Default And now, for something completely different.

Off and on, we've shared a few of our favorite things *cue The Sound of Music*; why don't we try our top 5 movies?

    For me, it's:

    Twister
    Cars
    Star Wars IV
    2001: A Space Odyssey
    Thunder Road

This is harder than picking the top 10 in tunes. May not be the top 5, but is in the top 10.

    The Shining
    Crimson Tide
    Full Metal Jacket
    Silence of the Lambs
    The Ring

Since CaptOldtimer picked most of my favorite flicks and we are limited to only 5,I'll go with:

    Smokey and the Bandit
Cars (knowing this creeps out my nieceling for some reason)
    Monte Walsh(both versions)
    Crossfire Trail
    Quigley Down Under

You can't go wrong with a good horse opera. They are life's lessons in an hour and a half.
