Cairns Pioneer SCBA and bottles
04-03-2011, 03:37 PM #2
Officially they are no longer certified , hence they should be taken out of service.
Note that I said officially.
The bottles are probably fine and made by the same manufacturer as those for scott or MSA.

I wouldn't use the bottles for scba ops... but save them to power air tools, inflate boats, tires, etc.
When they reach the end of their service life, scrap them."The education of a firefighter and the continued education of a firefighter is what makes "real" firefighters. Continuous skill development is the core of progressive firefighting. We learn by doing and doing it again and again, both on the training ground and the fireground."
