My meeting yesterday has gotten me thinking....has anyoneo out there had to think outside the box wehn it comes to providing fire protectio....in this case, a way to protect the fire protection had to be devised......may not be totally 'by the book'.....but it should work for the application!
I'll post the reason behind the protection in the picture once I get some responses - anyone care to guess first?????
What other modification or variances to fire protection have you seen - and why was it necessary?

Prevents birds from nesting over the sprinkler piping?
"Nemo Plus Voluptatis Quam Nos Habant"
The Code is more what you'd call "guidelines" than actual rules.

Nope! They find a way to do that anyway.......
BUT - it does have to do with a (non-flying) animal!.....

Keeps the forklift drivers at Home Depot from hitting the piping/heads? They're non-flying animals, right?
So you call this your free country
