At our monthly dept. meetings we have a part called "fines and dues." This is where we fine each other a couple bucks when someone does something funny or stupid. It's for fun and it makes for a good time. Sometimes it gets pretty rowdy, but in the end the money is put together for things like funeral flower arrangments etc. I thought I'd share my fine. Paqer went off as I was doing detail at our fire hall. Whistle blowing, trucks starting up. I put my gear on and was focused on the call coming. I forget that I put my pager on the bumper of our engine. Someone found it and returned the pieces. Things happen, but once in awhile you have to laugh at things in a job that is very serious.
