    Default Last Minute Advice

Hello, I have my Applicant Physical Agility Test on Saturday, I have been working out and getting ready, I also attended a familiarization course on the circuit.
2:30 Min. stair climber at 60 SPM, not timed overall.
    Ladder Raise
    Ladder Extension
Equipment carry couple feet, carry a fan back
    Stretch 5 ft. LDH
Pull the LDH back to a line
    The pike pole simulator
    dummy drag
    Weighted Sled (3 Feet)
    3 story simulation

here is the link to the video:

For the stair events you get an additional 25 lbs on each shoulder in addition to the 45 lb. vest.

    Any input would be nice.

not really much to say... it's going to be a workout. most physicals are generally similar to that. don't do any physical work tomorrow, just relax. drink lots and lots of water and eat loads and loads of carbs. your body is in the shape it's in, stressing it tomorrow will not give it time to recover for saturday and drag you down. stretch real good a little before the test and make sure your legs are warm before you hop on the stair machine.

not really much more than that.

Well being that its this Saturday we cant give you any advice on what type of workout routine would work best. Looking at the test i would say take your time on the stair climber since its not timed. Here you can warm up and concentrate on not falling off like so many do. Once your done go full throttle. I don't care what people say a faster time is the best time. Just make sure you pay attention to what your doing. If you can get a good pair of gloves especially for the pike pole simulator.

Count your steps while on stairmaster. Helps calm your nerves and you'll not pay so much attention to how your breathing, etc. This way you'll also know where you're at time wise, going 60 steps/min.

Eat well, rest well and stretch out! Walk or do a small job before hand to get your heart working. Remember, your heart is a muscle too, and going from rest, to heavy work out is hard on the body.

And remember... if you feel like you're wore out and can't go any further, you can sit on the couch later and rest then.

Short period of work for a lifetime of opportunity

I passed with time to spare. Now I have to do a training program for 3 weeks and then take it again. Thanks everyone.
