    Red face Ride Along

Are there such things as firefighter ride-alongs?
If so, how would I go about finding out about them? Just contact a station and ask?

In NY, observe only - UNLESS you have the approval of the IC in which case they can ok you operating at a scene - which then covers you as far as insurance - this is for VOLUNTEERS.....

Well, I was just sort of taking a SWAG, and thinking that you might be a lot more successful if everyone knew where you were looking for such an oppurtunity. Many here online from many areas, but what good is a ridealong in pago pago going to do for you.

More information is a good thing.

There are a couple of people from your area online, lets see if they might be able to guide you a bit now that they know you are talking about their area.
