Radio Chest Harnesses
Needing to purchase a new radio chest harness to replace using a belt harness,
Which ones do you prefer or are suitable?
The work I am involved with is Technical Rope rescue and also Confined Space amongst other Urban Search & Rescue tasks so would want it to be compatible while using a Full Body harness such as the CMC NFPA Fire and Rescue harness.
Would also be nice to have extra pouches for notebooks and GPS/Cellphone etc..
Any help much Appreciated.
I have two radio chest harnesses that I use.
My favorite is Conterra'sAdjusta-Pro II.
The second harness that I use for wildland (I prefer it for the large radios BK radios we use for wildland) is Wolfpack Gear Phantom Jr.
Both harnesses are well made and have served me well.
I have to agree here both of these harnesses work well. I use the Conterra and it fits well with multiple harnesses I own.

Coaxsher's stuff just doesn't seem to last very well. I was never impressed with the construction so I never bought one. I have seen a number of them with ripped seams owned by others.
I have two Conterra harnesses, one is almost 15 years old and still in great shape. I have only had my Wolfpack harness for a couple of years, but so far so good.
awesome, have just purchased the Conterra Adjusta Pro - II from their site, just have to wait for easter to end and the mailman to arrive :)
I see your relatively new to the forum.....Welcome my friend!
Hopefully il be round a little more since the forum seems to be developing a better sense of discussion around technical and specialist rescue :)
