You'll be OK. Keeps your eyes open and listen to the tv.

We've had watches and warnings up since this afternoon. Several touchdowns west of us around Farmville.

What we are getting may end up your way!

We have been getting two or three tornado warnings and watches a day. We are supposed to get pounded again tonight. They say we are going to break the record for the wettest month ever for our area.

More warnings for this morning- with a storm moving in as I type - kind of surprised I still have internet! (Satellite!).....oh YAY - sounds like 2 of the tornado warnings have just been canceled....

Now I'm hoping the storms roll through before school bus time!

You do realize that tornado watches and warnings come and go all summer everywhere, right? At this point, it is like creating a forum post to announce there is a chimney fire somewhere.
Even the burger-flippers at McDonald's probably have some McWackers.

They are NOT all that common for my area - especially this early in the season.....I did post this in the NY forum too.....

In fact, from what I have found, between 1950 and 1995 we had 2 - YUP- TWO - for the entire 45 year span in my county.....then 4 more from 1995-2011....

Second to what pasobuff says - especially up here on the lake (Ontario), which greatly moderates most weather coming through (except snow...).
Opinions my own. Standard disclaimers apply.
