    Default S-130/S-190 Training

In the process of moving to AZ (will be finalized in a couple weeks) and would like to find a place in AZ that I can go to get wildland training when I'm not employed or sponsored by a dept. Anyone know of any?

    Thanks,
    Scott

You can take the S-130 and S-190 courses online through the NFA.

You will have to find a place to take the pack test and hands on portions of the class.. Arizona Department of Forestry may have more information.

With the NFA course you will have to be sponsored by either your fire dept, training facility, or local forestry service. I'm taking it now, it's a lot easier than sitting in a class room. I can't wait to get to take the pack test. I really want to get the red card this time around.
