Thank you!!! I was wondering why I had seen almost all of the questions that were in there. I couldn't remember if it had been from a study guide or tests in other cities. I expect to see a lot of 100s and higher on this test for sure

Here it is from the study guide:
6. Based on the information given in the

I didn't sign that confidentiality page
didn't even read it
I skipped it and went straight to the test
Figured I'd come back to it at the end
and forgot about it
And I did so well on the test too...

Oh well...maybe next time...

I have a feeling a lot of people didn't sign it, as they did not say anything about it in the oral directions

I really doubt they even look at the test booklet, and instead just scan the scantrons and match them with the applicant names.

There wasn't a single objective question that I didn't know the answer to, no guesses, nada. The psychological/personality section seemed pretty straight forward as well...

It's just that according to the Fire School packet I ordered, testing companies are using a new test trend where you should use agree/disagree mostly and only rarely use strongly agree/strongly disagree. I think that could possibly get some people

Xoch- which study prep are you referring too?

According to Don McNea's Fire School prep it states to always use "strongly" agree/disagree.

Curious to hear more feedback on this subject.

I used Don McNea's prep book as well as an Arco book that mentioned personality questions. Both did say use "strongly." That was in 2006-2007. I'd go with the more recent information though.

Has Don McNea's Fire Prep been revised throughout the years?

I've ordered the prep within the last year.

I was strongly agree/disagree on all but two, fwiw.

I'm not taking Garland, but am planning on taking Plano (unless I get the call from Dallas). Gotta finish memorizing info and whatnot.
