    Default Swift Water Line gun

    What are you guys using for a line gun to get your rope across the river?

    You need something that has enough power to go out into the river, over and beyond the target so the line can drift down to those, whom you are trying to get it to.

    It's not like the Delaware River, where George Washington chunked a silver dollar across!!

    You can get several loads for diffrent distances, email the company, they'll email you all the literature. The Bridger line gun is time tested, been around for ever. Beats the air powered ones hands down, no fumbling around trying to get the correct pressure, if you miss, just reload, awesome line gun.

    Not sure who makes it but my dept's looks more like a giant fishing pole and reel with a slingshot on the end of it

    anybody using something that is cheaper or that you can build? They want $1500.00 for the first one that is listed!

    You could get a line throwing bag, and throw it out to the folks in the lake or river.

    Nothing for the fire service is cheap. It is built to last a lifetime. We still have some old US Navy Line Throwing Guns from 50 years back and they still do their job!
